Teaching Philosophy
Pooja believes Mathematics should be learned through conceptual understanding, inquiry and problem-solving rather than memorisation. She uses differentiated instruction and assessment to help students develop mathematical reasoning.
Students often struggle with
Students often struggle with mathematical reasoning, applying concepts to unfamiliar questions and transitioning from routine exercises to higher-order problem solving. Pooja focuses on strengthening foundations while gradually developing independent thinking.
Fav. part of teaching
Her favourite part of teaching is seeing students achieve a breakthrough in a difficult concept and become confident enough to solve challenging problems independently.

Biography
Pooja Jain is a Mathematics educator with more than six years of experience across IGCSE, IB MYP and IB DP Mathematics. She combines classroom teaching with academic leadership and student mentoring.
Her approach is inquiry-based and concept-driven, with a strong emphasis on mathematical reasoning, assessment and differentiated instruction. She also has experience supporting students through Internal Assessments and examination preparation.
