Pooja believes students understand Social Sciences best when they are encouraged to question, discuss and connect classroom concepts with current events and real-world issues. Her approach is inquiry-based, concept-driven and focused on critical thinking.
Students often struggle with
Students often struggle with memorising large amounts of information without understanding the wider context, developing analytical arguments and connecting evidence to their conclusions. Pooja focuses on discussion, inquiry and structured reasoning.
Fav. part of teaching
Her favourite part of teaching is creating discussions where students begin questioning ideas, exploring different perspectives and forming their own informed conclusions.

Pooja is a Social Science educator specialising in IB MYP Individuals & Societies and international-curriculum learning. Her teaching approach focuses on inquiry, critical thinking and helping students understand historical and social concepts through discussion and real-world connections.
She encourages students to move beyond memorisation and develop their own interpretations through evidence, discussion and structured reasoning.
