Teaching Philosophy
I believe language and literature education should help students become confident communicators and critical thinkers. My teaching focuses on developing strong analytical skills, thoughtful interpretation and the ability to communicate ideas clearly and effectively.

Students often understand a text but struggle to transform their observations into structured analytical responses. I help them develop interpretation, argumentation and evidence-based writing skills.

She holds a Master's degree in Educational Management from ADA University and a Bachelor's degree in English Literature from the Azerbaijan University of Languages. Her professional development includes multiple IB Category 2 and Category 3 workshops, giving her a strong understanding of IB teaching and assessment practices.
Tahmina's teaching combines inquiry-driven learning, global perspectives and creativity with structured preparation aligned with IB assessment criteria. She has also served as an IB Examiner for the TOK Exhibition and English B Internal Assessment and has supervised Extended Essays.
